The new Winston Hgihtower album 100 Acre Wood [PRNL65/KLP315] is finally out and oh my OMG it seems like forever (and a day) since Winston blessed us with the transcendental Winston Hytwr [PRNL050/KLP292] LP (though it has only been 18 months) but we need more Winston, more!
Now, 100 Acre Wood, recorded by Hayes Waring here in Olympia, Washington, fills that gap. In this case one need not mind the gap, instead fall into it! Bask in the glory of Winston Hightower, 100 Acre Wood!
This weekend Winston makes that easy for folks living in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio, by playing a free event at Used Kids Records, with special guest Marcy Mays (of Scrawl). Wowza get me there!
