At last, The Softies, Holiday in Rhode Island [KLP119] is back in stores on the long-playing (LP) phonograph record format. Originally released in 2000, Holiday in Rhode Island has been out of print on that format since the late 00 decade. On Friday that all changed when phonograph record emporiums the world over began stocking the Holiday in Rhode Island LP. Yay!
This summer lucky attendees at Glas-Goes Pop will witness The Softies headline the first evening, Friday, July 26. Go HERE for ticket information. There are rumours The Softies will tour the U.S.A. later this year, keep an eye peeled.
