Tonight Ragana, the heavy duo of Maria and Coley, play the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. They'll spend the rest of the summer touring about the USA before heading back to the NW in time to play Northern Sky Festival, a multi-dimensional, interactive ART happening that occurs September 6 & 7 at Oyster Bay Farm outside of Olympia, Washington. Ragana began their journey in Olympia, Washington over ten years ago. According to Sterogum, "their music thrums with heavy, mysterious power. It’s overwhelming in the same ways that the mountains and trees and rivers are overwhelming." Ragana have released several albums, the most recent offering being Desolation's Flower (The Flenser), available on multiple formats from their Bandcamp site.
