Above: LAKE, Let's Build a Roof tour shirt 2024!
At this very moment LAKE are in Calif., whooping up a storm of fantabulous live events, Davis to San Diego. This is the final leg of a West Coast tour that began last week with shows in Washington and Oregon (including a stellar performance right here in Olympia last Sunday). LAKE have drawn many of the songs on their set list for this tour from Let's Build a Roof [KLP213], their 2009 album recently remastered and made available as a long playing (LP) phonograph record. Yay.
For this tour LAKE had a limited number of shirts printed with the artwork from Let's Build a Roof to offer up to enthusiastic attendees. These shirts were hand printed by Paul Frunzi of the Anacortes, WA combos Ever-Ending Kicks and New Issue. Paul, who has been a guest musician on a number of LAKE recordings, is also playing electric bass guitar in LAKE on this tour.
The good news is, even if you can't make it to one of LAKE's West Coast shows, you still have an opportunity to acquire a Let's Build a Roof tour shirt. The K Mail Order Dept. has acquired a a small batch of LAKE shirts and is offering them up HERE. The shirts are available in two styles, Classic T and Pocket T, which features the album artwork printed on the back of the shirt with the band logo across the pocket on the front. Neat.
LAKE have plans to play a number of shows and festivals around the Northwest this summer, keep an eye peeled!
