Last weekend Michael Reitmulder of the Seattle Times listed Karl Blau's new LP Scream Time (Spiral Valley) as one of "The best Washington albums of 2022 (so far)" (Scream Time is the name of Karl's latest album on the LP format; it's known as Love & Harm to CD and digital download/streaming consumers).
After noting Karl Blau's "skipping to Philly," Reitmulder declares he still qualifies as "one of Washington's most creatively restless artists" who recorded Scream Time at The Unknown in Anacortes, Washington with a bevy of Northwest pals and visionaries (including members of LAKE).
The word is out. Karl Blau is no longer our hidden treasure. Oh, well. We must prepare to share him (and his vast musical talent) with the world. Karl Blau's Scream Time (Spiral Valley) LP is available now from The K Mail Order Dept.
