"I Didn't I Will" is the ascent at the heart of IROIRO's psychedelic debut album. The track pairs after-science melodies with loving and lush psychedelic textures, building an inexorable, almost spiritual momentum, a slow climb toward enlightenment. Layers of guitar and synth stack and swirl around each other, each pass adding another degree of lift, until the song feels less like it's being played than being flown.
IROIRO's debut album IROIRO [GU002/KLP327] arrives in stores October 30, and is now available for PRE-ORDER from The K Mail Order Dept.
See IROIRO play a show this evening with Acid Mothers Temple at the Clock-Out Lounge, Seattle, Washington. For a complete list of IROIRO events, check the K SHOWS page.
