A mere ten months ago Feeling Figures released their debut Migration Magic [PRNL052/KLP294] LP - - - and this Friday, their second collection will be in stores, the Everything Around You [PRNL054/KLP296] LP. Compared to Migration Magic, Everything Around You is a considerably deeper dive into the Feeling Figures universe, a more deliberate collection that includes compositions which push into the expanse, drawing from a broader palette of art rock influences. The songs on this album navigate tensions between the personal and political, encompassing inner turmoil and deep-seated desires for change at the entangled axis of individual and social transformation. Everything Around You is their most fully-realized accomplishment to date; the best recorded representation of their boundless, idiosyncratic approach to guitar-based music. Everything Around You will be featured in Bandcamp Daily later this week.
This weekend (Saturday, September 28) Feeling Figures make a big splash playing Goner Festival in Memphis Tn. They immediately head back to their home front Montreal, Quebec to play an LP release show October 4, returning to the Untied States for a series of East Coast shows in November:
Nov. 14 - Philadelphia, PA Launderette Records
Nov. 15 - Brooklyn, NY Hart Bar

Nov. 17 - New Haven, CT Bradley Street Bicycle Co-op
