A new single from Eli Moore, "The Power Line," proves he is more than just another comely face in the line-up of porcelain pretties that comprise LAKE, his combo of the last couple decades. No, "The Power Line" (a digi-single from the upcoming album of the same name) is an eerie call from the wilderness, an ode to losing one's mind in the best possible way.
Recorded at The Unknown in Anacortes, Washington with Nich Wilbur, "The Power Line" celebrates not knowing left from right, not sleeping at night. That could be a melodica in the background. Some catchy stuff, as you'd expect.
