Oh, my. Has it been that long? Yup. Only 30 years ago Heavenly offered up their second slab of long playing vinyl, the collection known evermore as Le Jardin de Heavenly. Starting off side two is the oft imitated (Barbara Streisand & Neal Diamond, Kylie Minogue & Rufus Wainwright, etc.) but never even close to equaled duet between Amelia Fletcher and Calvin Johnson, "C Is the Heavenly Option." Now with the reissue of Le Jardin de Heavenly via the band's own Skep Wax Records, a promotional video of that song has been tailored from imagery sent in to Skep Wax HQ by assorted pals and advisors to Heavenly over the many years lip syncing to the song. Included are a number of K aughts: Erin Smith, Rose Melberg, Calvin Johnson, Alison Wonderland not to mention all the members of Heavenly themselves. To list all the Cool Beans that appear in the retooled "C Is the Heavenly Option" would take up pages and pages of the K News so you'll just have to WATCH IT yourself!
