LAKE recently remastered their mildly psychedelic album Let's Build a Roof [KLP213]. It is being released on the long playing (LP) phonograph record format for the first time in over a decade - - - and is now available as a cassette tape for the first time ever!
Originally released in 2009, Let's Build a Roof was produced by Karl Blau at Dub Narcotic Studio in Olympia, Washington. The album is like a travelogue of the places LAKE have been, the stories they encountered on the way, and the memories unearthed from those experiences. Let's Build a Roof includes perennial favorite songs like "Christmas Island," "Gravel" and "Don't Give up." LAKE plans to tour the West Coast later this spring playing a set drawn heavily from Let's Build a Roof.
