Holly's trademark soulful garage R&B stylings come to fruition on God Don't Like It, her ultimate rock'n'soul statement (with a touch of folk splayed across Holly's own twang). Features Holly favourites like 'Give Back Time' and the Bill Withers cover 'Use Me'.

Holly Golightly (real name) started her musical career as a founder member of all girl garage band Thee Headcoatees, a Billy Childish / Thee Headcoats splinter group in 1991. She spent four years as a Headcoatee before breaking away to release her debut record.

God Don't Like It is a Holly Golightly Production, engineered by Liam Watson at Toe-Rag Studios. Holly Golightly: vocals, rhythm guitar, percussion; Dan Melchior: lead guitar, bottle neck, vocal, harp; John Gibbs: electric & double bass; Bruce Brand: drums, percussion, second guitar on "Use Me'; Baine Watson: second guitar on "Second Place"; Ed Deegan: second guitar on "Can;t Stand to see Your Face". Cover portrait by John Langford.
