Our Nikaido Kazumi, as seen through the eyes of Vincent Moon. This was part of a screening Mr. Moon conducted in Olympia last year at the Cherry Street Lofts (a former site of the Dub Narcotic Studio). Mr. Moon was surprised to learn (from Arrington de Dionyso, another subject of a Vincent Moon study) that Nikaido Kazumi had recorded an album right there in that very room (produced by Phil Elverum). He had never heard of Nikaido before the night of this taping. He heard her voice at a show and knew he had to document it. He convinced her to wander the streets after the show so he could record her for posterity.

Nikaido Kazumi collaborated with Tara Jane O’Neil for the album Tara Jane O’Neil and Nikaido Kazumi [KLP234].
