Occasionally at K, we’ll poke our noses around the back catalogue and rediscover treasures. This time Landing, our old friends from Connecticut and former K band, are shaking off some dust and picking up where they left off.
Formed in the summer of 1998, Landing put both Passages Through [KLP146] in 2003 and Sphere [KLP162] in 2004 out on K with songs that sprawl from deep canyons and invoke the fiercely intimate. They ran the underground houseshow circuit in the early 2000’s with their ambient post-rock, picking up collaborators like that of Adam Forkner (Yume Bitsu, VVRSSNN, White Rainbow). They’re embarking on a tour this August to make your mind blow out.
