LANDING IS BACK!

Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013

Occasionally at K, we’ll poke our noses around the back catalogue and rediscover treasures. This time Landing, our old friends from Connecticut and former K band, are shaking off some dust and picking up where they left off.

Formed in the summer of 1998,  Landing put both Passages Through [KLP146] in 2003 and Sphere [KLP162] in 2004 out on K with songs that sprawl from deep canyons and invoke the fiercely intimate. They ran the underground houseshow circuit in the early 2000′s with their ambient post-rock, picking up collaborators like that of Adam Forkner (Yume Bitsu, VVRSSNN, White Rainbow). They’re embarking on a tour this August to make your mind blow out.
