100_8075 for WeblogThe Pine Hill Haints toured through Olympia in early August playing Northern with tour-mates Zealous Doxy. The next day they all stopped by Dub Narcotic Studio to chat with hosts Ian Vanek and Calvin Johnson (The Hive Dwellers) on the Pink Elephant’s Graveyard (where we store all the cultural documents which are uniquely K).

The new Pine Hill Haints album The Magik Sounds of the Pine Hill Haints [KLP254]  just arrived at the K warehouse so the band celebrated by playing a few of its songs live in the studio. You can view a video excerpt of Pine Hill Haints playing “Rattle Them Bones” HERE.

They spent time talking about their life and work in Northern Alabama and the Black Owl Trading Co., where they screen print assorted garments and host shows.
