A promotional video for the Beat Happening song “Knock on Any Door”, which was released on a 45rpm phonograph record with the song “Sea hunt”. This single was a co-release between K and Bi-Joopiter Expressions in Hertford, England. Beat Happening played several shows with the McTells, whose singer, Paul Rixon, ran Bi-Joopiter Expressions, a small cassette label that also released a handful of phonograph records.

The McTells released a single in our International Pop Underground series, “Clean” [IPU034] (Heather Lewis of Beat Happening designed the sleeve).

The “Knock on Any Door” video was included on a Bi-Joopiter Expressions video compilation released in the early ’90s.
