Girl Trouble, Jeremy Jay on Pitchfork Advance!

Friday, January 17th, 2014

The official “street date” for the new albums by Girl Trouble and Jeremy Jay is January 21. This weekend you can preview both Girl Trouble‘s Hit It or Quit It [KLP229] and Jeremy Jay‘s Abandoned Apartments [KLP247] via the Pitchfork Advance website. At Pitchfork Advance you will find the music from the albums accompanied by assorted visual treats, photogs and video bits and pieces. Included on the Hit It or Quit It page is a video montage with clips from Girl Trouble‘s “official” music videos and live excerpts from shows around the NW. In the above photog lead singer Kurt and Go-Go dancers careen about the stage at the Chambers Prairie Grange Hall dancing to “Spinout” when Girl Trouble shared that stage with Mudhoney and Thee Headcoats in 1990. Jeremy Jay provides us with the lyrics to his “Covered in Ivy” and a rotating view of his inner psyche. Of course, both Hit It or Quit It [KLP229] and Abandoned Apartments [KLP247] are available now (as LP, CD and digital downloadable) from the K Mail Order Dept. !!
