The Six Questions interviews (started a ways back with interviews with Emily Beanblossom (of Ruby Fray & Christmas) and Kendl Winter) are back and forging onward through the cold months with the dark pop rock n’ roll tunes of Nucular Aminals. This time around I (Bryce) got to know Robert Comitz of Nucular Aminals a little better before the band heads off to tour in Europe behind their new LP, Start From An End.
Bryce: Where are you living currently?
Robert: 7214 N. Mississippi Ave. Portland, Or 97217
Bryce: Do you prefer pie or cake?
Robert: Neither. But if it is in pie form I will eat quiche or pot pie.
Bryce: What kind of shoes are you wearing right now?
Robert: Canvas ones that were made in a sweat shop, unfortunately.
Bryce: What’s your favorite record?
Robert: In Utero by the band called Nirvana. The one that was from the late ’80s into the mid nineties. There were two “Nirvana”‘s.
Bryce: What’s the last book you finished?
Robert: Ham On Rye/ News in Africa regarding “corrective rape”.
Bryce: Kendl’s question: How do you like to feel good when you’re on the road?
Robert: Eating salad bar at co-ops every morning if at all possible. Blasting In Utero. Eating regional foods.
Bryce: What’s one question you want to ask the next person?
Robert:When you were still learning, what made you continue playing music?
