Adrian Orange and Her Band: bio

Adrian Orange was born in Portland, Oregon at 4:20 on March 20th, 1986. He started playing guitar when he was 9, and imediately felt the intense desire to jam with everyone who would have him. Adrian’s first show was the Dead with his dad at the age of 6, and at the age of 10 he was introduced to punk shows.

Traditional school didn’t suit Adrian, so at the age of 15 he dropped out to pursue music full time. Since then he’s produced 10 albums as well as various singles and Eps under the moniker ‘Thanksgiving’ and one as Adrian Orange. Most of these were released by Marriage Records in Porland ­ a label which he helped found in 2001.

Adrian’s upcoming full-length streets September 11, 2007 on Olympia, Washington’s own K Records. The album, under the name of Adrian Orange and Her Band, was recorded at Dub Narcotic Studio. Work is underway to transform the band/person into some leaderless, formless, psychedelic, general liberation project.
