Rural southern Thurston County will once again host the annual Helsing Junction Sleepover this August 19-21, 2011. This yearly event takes place at the 30 acre Helsing Junction organic farm, a beautiful natural venue. Opportunities for camping, picnicking, swimming, underground films and wild rock ‘n roll combine for a weekend of rambunctious outdoor shenanigans! Scheduled to appear this time around are The Hive Dwellers, Arrington de Dionyso's Malaikat dan Singa, Joey Casio, Tender Forever, The Maxines, LAKE, Kendl Winter, Gary May, Joe Cappocia, Lovers Without Borders (feat. Karl Blau), The Pine Hill Haints, The Curious Mystery, Safe, Adrian Orange, Knot Pine Box, Generifus, Jared Snyder, City Center, Danny Kelly, Angelo Spencer et les Hauts Sommets, Takhoma, Bennett, and Brainstorm!

Helsing Junction and K records joining forces is a natural union. Each driving home the values of homegrown necessities: whether farms or rock ‘n roll. Helsing Junction provides organic vegetables, fruit and flowers and run an 800-member CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. Their produce is sold direct to New Seasons Markets in Portland, the Olympia Food Co-Op and the Organically Grown Co-Op. Just as Helsing Junction educates the necessity of small farms, K records preaches the necessity of locally produced music. This particular event celebrates the community on all levels.
$30 advance pass - includes all musical events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and camping on Friday and Saturday nights. (This price does not include food.)
$35 pass can be bought at the entrance of Helsing Junction.
