Olympia Is Occupied

Thursday, November 3rd, 2011

Occupy Olympia is going strong, rolling towards the long haul.
Here is a video from last week of Helsing Junction Sleep Over regular Danny Kelly playing with Z-Kamp at the Occupy Olympia site, and a subsequent march to the State Capitol:

Danny Kelly will be playing at Traditions Cafe Dec. 2, a benefit for the Disarm Now! Plowshares 5. According to OlyBlog, “The Five Disarm Now, Plowshares trial is scheduled in Tacoma at the Federal Courthouse (1717 Pacific, Old Union Station) beginning Tuesday Dec. 7th, trial is expected to continue through Thursday. The Feds are set to imprison the elderly activists – a nun, two radical priests and two catholic workers – just in time for X-mas. Their crime? Praying for the absolution of nuclear weapons on a nuke base.”

You can find out more at the Disarm Now web log, or just attend the event Dec. 2! There is a $10.00 suggested donation, but no one will be turned away – they’d rather have your presence.
